Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

  1. Door handle (outside first then inside).

  2. Steering wheel.

  3. Radio and other control buttons and indicators.

  4. Seat belt.

  5. Any other areas we may need to touch when working inside the vehicle (i.e. glove box handles, drink holders, dashboard, hand brake and gears etc.)

Disinfect Hands

  1. We will use hand sanitiser or washing of hands prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. After completing the work we will Sanitise our hands thoroughly and close the door to the vehicle.

Payment and Invoicing

  1. No Cash payments. Our strong preference is payment by card via the tap and go facility.

  2. Printing of invoices and quotes will cease and we will instead email them to you.

Should you have any queries regarding our Coronavirus (Covid-19) procedures, or any other matter please do not hesitate in contacting us on 13 30 32.

car make

At Lube Mobile, we can accommodate all your Mazda service needs and any other car repairs that you require. Our mobile mechanics are trained to complete warranty services and can keep your Mazda running in perfect condition. We will stamp and sign your log books so your warranty is still valid.

Your car requires regular servicing even if it has moved past its warranty. For many vehicles, this is around every 15,000km for a yearly car service. When you book in with Lube Mobile, a trained Mazda mechanic will attend to your vehicle at your home, workplace, or anywhere the car is parked. One of the benefits of hiring a mobile mechanic is that you don’t need to transport your car to a certain location. This can save you time and money, as all you need to do is provide us the keys of your car and we can take care of the rest.

One of the best ways to make sure that your Mazda service is being performed properly is getting it done at the same place for all of its services. With Lube Mobile you are never far away from the consistent servicing that your car requires. Even if you are travelling and need a service completed you can call on us as Lube Mobile is present in many locations across Australia. Our fully equipped vans have coverage in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. For a complete list of the areas that we cover you can search our website or call us on 13 30 32 to book an appointment for Mazda service. As our mobile mechanics receive the same training you can be certain that you’ll be offered the same customer service and mechanical ability to look after your Mazda.

How much will my Mazda service cost?

On the Lube Mobile website, you can find out the cost of any regular service. All you’ll need to do is fill in your car details and an estimate for the service you selected will be provided. Often when you take your car to a mechanic it can be hard to pin down the exact costs of a repair or service. If you are having trouble navigating our website or need any help regarding pricing you can call one of our operators on 13 30 32 and they can offer assistance.

If your vehicle is still under warranty, the exact costs of your service may be hard to produce. As some cars will require different services based on how many kilometres it has completed. For the best results, we’ll follow the recommendations as set out in your logbook. This is important, as doing so will keep your warranty valid. If you have a warranty claim, later on, your Mazda mechanic at the dealer may request to see the log book, to check that everything has been completed as per the manufacturer's requirements.

How to check your Mazda service history?

For any Mazda service completed with Lube Mobile, we’ll have a record of what was completed and when. It is possible to reproduce this upon request. However, the best way to check your service history is to check the vehicles log book. This valuable document should contain the stamps and signatures of any Mazda mechanic that has performed work on the vehicle.

If you are buying a used Mazda and there is no logbook or it hasn’t been filled out, you can look for a service sticker on the inside of the windscreen. Many mechanics will place a reminder sticker here. While this won't give you a complete picture of the service history, it can tell you when the vehicle was last serviced properly.

Does Mazda service include repairs?

In most cases, a Mazda service does not do additional repairs to your vehicle. A proper service by a suitably qualified mechanic will be looking for any safety problems or items that may need attention. Then they will inform the owner of anything that needs repairing. It is then up to the owner to notify the mechanic if these repairs should go ahead or not.

At Lube Mobile, we are fully equipped to handle any on-site repairs. You can book in directly for repairs if you know something needs attention. It can be a good idea to mention if anything unusual is happening to the car as it drives. Sounds like squealing from the tyres can mean you might need new brakes, and the mechanic will give these a closer inspection.

Most services and repairs can be completed at your home, or wherever the car has been parked. If you have a larger job than usual (e.g. anything where a car lift is required) we can arrange for the car to be taken to one of our workshops and complete the repairs there.

Why is Mazda service so expensive?

A Mazda service can be expensive depending on where you take it. If you go through a dealer, they may insist on using Mazda parts. While there is nothing wrong with that, these parts are usually more expensive and this will result in costing more.

When you book through Lube Mobile, we can give you the options of using genuine Mazda parts, or reproduction parts that will do the same job but are often cheaper. Although in some cases, especially during the warranty periods, it may be a requirement that you use genuine parts. At Lube Mobile, we will discuss all your options in regards to your Mazda service and what best benefits your needs.
